Posterior Spinal Fusion

Fusion performed from the back of the spine to limit painful motion or stabilize deformity or instability.

May include posterior cervical fusion (PCF) or lumbar techniques such as PLIF, depending on pathology.

Often combined with decompression when stenosis coexists.
